If a mutual fund app shuts down, the closure does not by itself cancel mutual fund units already allotted to you. The official record sits in an AMC folio for SOA holdings or a depository account for demat holdings. You may still need another access route and must check whether future SIP debits will continue.

A mutual fund can lose substantial value, and your principal is not guaranteed. For its NAV to reach zero, the scheme's net assets after liabilities would effectively have to be exhausted. An AMC closing, a scheme winding up or an investment app failing are different events.
